This is a homage to the chapecoense

Associação Chapecoense de Futebol is a Brazilian football club, based in the city of Chapecó, Santa Catarina. It was founded on May 10, 1973, with the goal of restoring football in the city of Chapecó. Its origin is linked to the fact that, in the 1970s, the region had only a few amateur teams, and it is inexpressive in relation to professional football. In order to reverse this situation, some sportsmen, young people in love with the sport, decided to get together to create a professional football team for the city.

Among those present at the first meetings were: Alvarez Pelisser, Heitor Pasqualotto, Altair Zanella, representative of the Independent Club, Lichter Immich and Vicente Delai, representatives of Club Atlético de Chapecó. In 2013, the club gained national prominence after its meteoric rise of the D Series to the Series A of the Brazilian Football Championship in only 6 years. In all, the club has already reached ten finals of the Catarinense Championship and won five state titles, the last one in 2016.
